8ni was a war orphan of the Ziinlo/Aqin war, having been raised in the orphanage that was opened up by Zoan twenty years ago. Growing up, she was witness to several brutal acts by the Aqin General Militia due to her close proximity to the war zone, and resolved to make the world a better place by uniting - uniting in song, in dance, and in contemplation. To achieve those ends, she has become the first (ethnically) Ziin Priestess of Ajora and has come to mix Ziin culture with Ajora's teachings.

She is well known for her normal waking time of 8:00... PM.

Having mastered the ability to bring about inner calm and peace via channeling anger through song, she's typically peaceful and slow to anger - but when she does, her Ziin heritage shines through and she will curse up a storm that will make non-Ziin sailors blush and turn green with envy over her mastery of language.
