NaganyoPrefectureLocation: Northernmost point of Vaan, on the border between Vaan and Miin along a trade route. Population: 1000-5000. Racial Makeup: 96% High Elven, 3% Sprite, <1% Others. Naganyo Prefecture is located along a trade route between the northern parts of Vaan and the southern parts of Miin. Usually, this is the last place merchants from Vaan would stop by before entering the general Miin area, but trade originating from Vaan is infrequent. Mountain Elves are frequently harassed at the border (if they are let in at all), and thus rarely see this place. In general, there is little remarkable about these lands or the people that live in them, other than noting that the prefecture tends to be substantially more open and welcoming of things compared to most of the rest of Vaan. The largest village in the prefecture is located within sight of the main border gate and is relatively rich compared with the rest of Vaan. The Vaan military patrols the borders, but otherwise Naganyo Prefecture is not known to have any standing militia or garrison of any type.
