Description

Sharna actually has two pantheons, each of which work different aspects of life. The Chronosian Pantheon, led by Cecil Lanthani and the Transcendent Pantheon, with no clear leader.

Chronosian Pantheon

The Chronosian Pantheon is the group of deities descended from Father Time and Birth Mother. The first born was Loman. Loman is the only perfectly natural child of Cecil and Florina, and is the only one of the children actually a deity in his own right, and in theory his power should be outright tremendous. The parents, concerned about making too many overpowered gods too quickly for such a young world, split each of the subsequent children in twain - each complementing the other half and having roughly half the power of a god. These children are called the Paragons and are the founding members of their respective races.

Transcendent Pantheon

The Transcendent Pantheon are all of the other deities - major, minor, or otherwise - that have become gods throughout their lifetimes. None of the Transcendent Pantheon were born as deities, and several members of the pantheon still walk Sharna to this day - the most visible of which is the Goddess Varia Hyral.

Spiritualism

Various varieties of Spiritualism exist throughout Sharna. Frequently, various cultures mix aspects of spiritualism with various deities of either of the two pantheons. A notable exception to this is the so-called Sol Spiritualism, believing that the heavenly bodies visible from Sharna personify spirits and represent aspects of life and death. Typically believed by various Fae-homed people along with the Werewolves of United Fovoham.
