AqinAqin is the home of the Royal Family of Valencia and is the second largest city on the Island (second to long-time rival |Zinlo|) in both terms of physical size and population (approximately 1.15 million). Aqin is also home to the Aqinstadt, the historical palace of the Royal Family of Valencia (although the palace itself predates the royal line by hundreds of years). The Aqin are known for being intensely arcanophobic and xenophobic - to the point where it uses its own currency. While officially the death penalty for practicing magic was revoked, unofficially it still stands in Aqin. Aqin is also home of the Aqin Militia, the bulk of the non-religious military forces of the kingdom. Aqin's main industries include mining and armaments.
