Ages in a world where you have people that can live tens of thousands of years all the way down to a maximum lifespan of 30 makes things really difficult.

This is a general guide that the Evil Guide has made for approximate age correlations. Everything is being compared to that of a human, for reference.

Elves

Elves live upwards of 500 years and are generally assumed to reach physical maturity at around the age of 100, but it isn't quite as cut and dry as that. Some Elven societies seem to age a little faster than most (Mountain Elves), some a bit slower (High Elves), but we're going to assume an average here.

Elven Infants and Toddlers

Elves grow from the newborn to infant stage at a rate not too dissimilar from Humans; in fact, at the same rate as half-elves.

1 year old elf :: 9 month old human
2 year old elf :: 18 month old human
3 year old elf :: 2.25 year old human
4 year old elf :: 3 year old human
5 year old elf :: 3.5 year old human

Elven Children

From here, elves slow down their aging, effectively staying in the child years longer than one would expect. This is also when half-elves and full-elves start diverging.

5 year old elf :: 3.5 year old human
6 year old elf :: 4 year old human
8 year old elf :: 4.5 year old human
10 year old elf :: 5 year old human
15 year old elf :: 7 year old human
20 year old elf :: 8 year old human
25 year old elf :: 9 year old human
30 year old elf :: 10 year old human
40 year old elf :: 11.5 year old human
50 year old elf :: 13 year old human

Elven Teenagers

A lot of debate exists in Elven society as to how "old" a "half-centurion" / teenager really is. From Mountain and Mirage Elven society, where you are a teenager until you can prove that you are not, to High Elven society that considers you one until at least 100, this is quite contentious in-game. Out of game though, this is a rough guideline.

50 year old elf :: 13 year old human
60 year old elf :: 14 year old human
70 year old elf :: 15 year old human
77 year old elf :: 16 year old human
84 year old elf :: 17 year old human
90 year old elf :: 18 year old human
95 year old elf :: 19 year old human
100 year old elf :: 20 year old human

Elven Adults

In general, Elven age divided by 5.

Half-elves

Half-elves age somewhat similar to elves very early in life, then start aging faster compared to elves later on. Half-elven lifespan varies between 150 and 300 years, generally depending on what percentage of elf vs. non-elf they are. For the numbers down below, assume roughly 50/50 and lifespan of around 200 years.

Half-elven Infants and Toddlers

1 year old half-elf :: 9 month old human
2 year old half-elf :: 18 month old human
3 year old half-elf :: 2.25 year old human
4 year old half-elf :: 3 year old human
5 year old half-elf :: 3.5 year old human

Half-elven Children

Unlike their full blooded elven counterparts though, their toddler aging growth pattern generally maintains the pattern for the rest of their life. This is generally seen as "difficult" for humans and elves alike to handle.

Generally dreaded by human parents due to even more wild mood swings than human counterparts and just plain uncomfortable by many elven parents, half-elven teenagers generally age the same way they do in adulthood.
