StartingEquipmentPrices

A starting character can start with anything listed on this page, unless marked with a technology and/or magic tag (which means the character must be starting in an area of that level of magic or technology). Items marked with a location tag can only be purchased if the character is starting in that location. Keep in mind that a starting character usually only starts with 10,000 gil. There are prices on this page that exceed that; some characters may start with more money.
