Human

Background
Humanity is the race of beings resembling basic animal primates in nature descending from their Paragon |Ajora Glabados Lanthani|. Of all of the sapient races of Sharna, Humanity is the most average and possibly one of the older races of the current era according to the Theory of Aging. In addition, elements of humanity seem to be present in the genetics of other races - with this information, it could be concluded that either all of the current era races descend from humanity, all of the current era races have interbred with humanity at one point in their timelines, or that either Father Time or Birth Mother are human. Needless to say, this theory is not very popular amongst other races.

Humans are also very urbanized in comparison to most races with most humans on Sharna living in either Cities or large Towns. They are most commonly found on the Isle of Man, where they make up the majority of the population. However, it is not uncommon to see humans living on any continent of Sharna.

Racial Relations
Most human racial relations have more to do with locality than an overall racial distrust. For an example, humans living in the Vermio region of the Isle of Man have a large amount of racial distrust for the Neko race, whereas humans living on the Isle of Fae have a very strong distrust of Night Elves.

Most other races view Humans as war-like and tend to only trust them on the battlefield. High Elves in particular have a great amount of dislike for the race, often viewing them as mere monsters needing to be culled or at the very least as pawns in a game of global chess. The Nekos of the Isle of Man view Humanity with a great amount of fear due to the recent occurrences of racial cleansing during the |East Ivalice Civil War|.

Religion
As little as fifteen years ago, over 90% of the Human population were adherents to the Glabadian Church, following in the ways of their Saint |Ajora Glabados Lanthani|. However, the stranglehold the Glabadian Church had on the Isle of Man has crumbled with several high profile conflicts between the general populous and the church. As a result, several new religions have had their numbers swell in that region and the Glabadian Church is no longer treated as law on the continent.

Those humans that do not worship Saint Ajora have a tendency towards worshiping any member of the Transcendent Pantheon depending on their upbringing and personal virtues. Adventuring humans tend to at least give small prayers towards Loman Lanthani, the God of Death, as it is believe that he governs over Adventurers and those that risk death for mere excitement. It would be very rare to see a human give anything more than just respect towards any other member of the Chronosian Pantheon except through Saint Ajora.
